Bellhaven has, since its founding, maintained an active social program in the communities where it operates. This social program is coordinated by a staff of professionals who work with the community to serve their needs and explain the exploration activities conducted by the company.  Programs conducted by the company focus on the needs of the community and include: repair and maintenance of access roads, purchase of school supplies, assistance to local cooperatives, and operation of a three-day-per-week medical clinic.

This poster shows a medical clinic organized for the community of Pitaloza at Bellhaven's Pitaloza Project on the Azuero Peninsula on July 16, 2005.  A number of doctors donated their time and the company pitched in with transportation and medical supplies. Services offered included general medical attention, vaccination, and dentistry.
