Mr. Benedetti is a central figure in the mining industry of Panama and past President of the Panama Chamber of Mines. In the 1980's, Mr. Benedetti was involved in the discovery of the Santa Rosa and Remance gold deposits and their development, bringing Remance into production in the 1990’s. Mr Benedetti was also instrumental in in the discovery of the Cerro Quema high sulphidation–type gold deposit and its subsequent acquisition by Bellhaven and sale to Pershimco Resources. Mr. Benedetti is an alumnus of the University of Colorado and the Colorado School of Mines and is fluent in English and Spanish.
Patrick M. Abraham
Co-Founder, CEO & Director
Mr. Abraham is a Director and Co-founder of PanAmerica Capital Group, Inc., a Panama-based brokerage and investment bank serving a worldwide clientele. Recently retired as PanAmerica’s CEO, Patrick lived and worked in the Republic of Panama since 1995 where he led and/or participated in financing several hundred Canadian-listed junior mining and exploration companies, U.S.-listed companies, private companies and other enterprises. In 2004, Patrick co-founded Bellhaven Copper & Gold, Inc. with Mr. Benedetti to maximize investment returns in the burgeoning copper and gold exploration and development sectors in Panama and Colombia. Mr. Abraham is a licensed securities broker with the Panamanian SMV – Panama’s investment securities and market regulatory authority. Mr. Abraham is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Navy who served aboard the nuclear powered aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Eisenhower, during Desert Storm/Desert Shield and now lives with his wife and 3 children outside Seattle, Washington, USA.
Maria Milagros Paredes
President, CFO & Director
Ms. Paredes combines experience as a finance professional with a technical background in geology. Her extensive financial experience was developed at two storied companies, Hewlett Packard and Intel. At Hewlett Packard she was responsible for leading the Enterprise Division's budget and planning activities. More recently at the Intel Corporation, she drove the valuation of technologies that would be used in future products, combining finance, risk, and strategic analysis to recommend technologies that would increase revenue while reducing Intel's risk exposure. Ms. Paredes received a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria Lima-Peru, a M.Sc. degree in Geology from Iowa State University, and an MBA from Cornell University (New York). She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mr. Driver, Chartered Accountant, is a partner with Davidson & Company, Chartered Accountants. Mr. Driver was a partner with Driver Anderson, Chartered Accounts, from 1982 until the firm merged with Davidson & Company in March 2002. Mr. Driver has been a director and officer of numerous public companies over the past ten years.
Mr. Wasylyshyn is an Independent Director of Bellhaven and has been involved in the mining and exploration industry in North and South America, as well as Europe for over 30 years. As a geologist he has been involved in all aspects of underground and open pit mining and mining exploration - from grass-roots exploration discoveries through to the successful re-start and operation of the Bjorkdal gold mine in Sweden. Most recently he served as the President and COO of Gold-Ore Resources.
